
Jazmine was raised and born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam her mother is a former back-up singer of Philadelphia International Records. At the age of five, old, her father was offered an appointment as the curator for the city's Historic Strawberry Mansion in the Strawberry Mansion section, and her family moved into the landmark historical building. In 2005 she was a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts with the vocal music major. Sullivan started singing in the school's chorus as a contralto before joining the adult choir just a couple of years further on. He was exposed to secular music but was initially limited "I was doing solos in the church and was approached by someone to sign to an evangelical label when I had turned eleven, however I wasn't ready to do that," she recalls. "I was fortunate enough to get selected for a McDonald's competitionwhich gave youngsters from cities across the country an opportunity to sing 'Accept that God is God's Will'. The audience responded to the song well." The singer performed along with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday in the year thirteen. Sullivan was the first to sign her contract to Jive Records when she was 15. The label initially signed Sullivan to Jive Records around the age of 15. She was the producer of an entire album but this album never saw release. Sullivan was later eliminated from the record label. The singer had a great working partnership and Missy Elliott. Elliott produced several of her songs which included "Backstabbers" and "Backstabbers," which was written by Timbaland.
