Yael Yael, an Australian who lives in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael holds a master's degree from NIDA. Yael's early career has allowed her to meet and work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael is a hugely accomplished career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has made New York City her home in the wake of the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced the critically acclaimed production. Yael co-founded The Cannery. Working from a studio at Bushwick, Brooklyn, the The Cannery promotes new writing and inventive, innovative ventures.
