Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actor, director, producer, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was just a child. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant in January 2013 at an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN recognized Bo's performance along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of the show's popularity, Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
